5th Annual Wild & Scenic Film Festival Postponed
In accordance with guidance from the State of California and Nevada County, Mountain Area Preservation has made the difficult decision to reschedule the 5th Annual Wild & Scenic Film Festival to help protect public health and slow the rate of transmission of COVID-19.
We are happy to announce that we already have dates for the rescheduled events.
Truckee Festival – 5th Annual Wild & Scenic Film Festival
New Date: Friday, November 6th, 2020, Doors 5 pm, Films 6 pm
Truckee Community Arts Center, 10046 Church St, Truckee, CA
Celebrate the environment of Truckee-Tahoe and beyond with MAP at the Downtown Community Arts Center in Truckee on Friday, November 6th, 2020 from 5 pm – 9 pm for the 5th Annual Wild & Scenic Film Festival. The evening will showcase award-winning films focused on climate change, adventure, activism and conservation. Join us for an evening filled with inspiring films, tasty food, delicious libations, advocacy updates and a big raffle benefitting MAP’s work!

Dinner & A Movie – 5th Annual Wild & Scenic Film Festival
New Date: Saturday, November 7th, 2020, 6 – 9 pm
Tahoe Tap Haus, 475 N. Lake Blvd. Tahoe City, CA
Join MAP for an intimate evening celebrating the environment and activism through film, featuring a multi-course seasonal meal and drinks from the Tahoe Tap Haus. The film program will include an exclusive film, The Valley. Watch the Trailer here and come get inspired and active with MAP’s conservation movement!
All tickets that have already been purchased will automatically be transferred to the fall dates. If you are unable to attend on the rescheduled dates, please contact Lynn at Lynn@mapf.org or 530-582-6751. MAP can issue a refund or convert your ticket into a tax-deductible donation.
