Celebrate Earth Day with MAP at the Downtown Community Arts Center in Truckee on Friday, April 19th from 5 pm – 9 pm at the 4th Annual Wild & Scenic Film Festival. The evening will be filled with award-winning films focused on adventure, activism, and conservation. Join us for inspiring films, tasty food, delicious libations and a raffle!
The Wild & Scenic Film Festival was started by environmental advocacy group South Yuba River Citizens League (SYRCL) in 2003. The festival’s namesake is in celebration of SYRCL’s landmark victory to receive “Wild & Scenic” status for 39 miles of the South Yuba River in 1999. The festival is now in it’s 17th year and goes on tour all around the world by partnering with like-minded environmental organizations such as MAP.
Please join us for the FREE Wild & Scenic Art Walk on Thursday, April 18th in Historic Downtown Truckee. Click here to learn more!
